Sore calves when running? Pain in your hips and back when walking or exercising?
Foot Reset is your solution
Let’s imagine…you’ve been successful in the ballot to get the chance to run in the marathon or you’re putting in that extra effort to be the best on the pitch, court or the green, but pain and discomfort can keep getting in the way of your performance. It may be your shoes – or more accurately it could be your feet which are letting you down.

Send us a short video to email@example.com of you walking or running and we’ll review and let you know if Foot Reset is a solution for you. For as little as £175 per foot you can have a tailor-made remedy to your issues.
If you’re not an existing Body Reset Clinic patient and therefore not in a treatment programme, we will contact you to make a 30-minute appointment where our trained therapists will carry out an initial assessment for only £38.

THE TECHNICAL BIT CONCERNING Foot Reset:
Foot Reset are custom orthotic devices inserted into your existing footwear and are designed to help realign your foot and ankle in the most anatomically efficient position whilst moving. Orthotics are used to treat movement imbalances that can lead to pain in the foot, ankle, knee, hip and lower back.
Once you’ve made your appointment to come and see us, we can begin the process of tailoring your Foot Reset orthotics to you. We will analyse your standing gait and functional movement patterns to help detect where the dysfunctions are. Secondly, a resin mould is taken of your foot and then sent to the laboratory with your own specific prescription. The orthotics will then be inserted into your shoes and you will be instructed to wear them in gradually whilst your body adapts to the greater quality of movement.
When analysing the foot, we are looking for both the forefoot (front) and rear foot (back) to work as a unit during walking and running. A common dysfunction when these two are not working efficiently is over-pro-nation (flattening of the feet). There are many more types of problems stemming from poor foot bio-mechanics which lead to pain higher up the chain. A few examples include:
- Excessive supination (high arched feet)
- Plantar fasciitis
- Metatarsalgia (inflammation of the joints in the foot)
- Achilles pain
- Shin splints
- Knee pain
- Hip pain
- Lower back pain
This information is to help you understand the process.
- First appointment and moulding
We examine your bio-mechanics. We may look at the way you walk, run or video your movement to allow us to do a gait analysis. If we decide that orthotics would benefit you we will use a resin slip sock to make a mould of your feet, which will be sent to the lab to make your orthotics. To make the mould of your feet you will lie on your front and relax while a warm sock is applied to your foot. As we hold your foot in a neutral position the sock will go hard. It usually takes 3-4 weeks from moulding to have your Foot Reset orthotics made. You will also be asked to pay for your orthotics at your first appointment. You will be offered the Foot Reset Protect Warrantee for £100 which is valid for two years.
Your moulds will be sent to the laboratory to be manufactured. Once they are made and we have received them we will call you to arrange your fitting appointment. At this appointment you will need to bring the footwear we are fitting your Foot Reset orthotics to. We will check the fit between your foot and orthotics and will explain the process of slowly getting used to your orthotics.
We will book you in for two review appointments, one 3 weeks after your fitting and one 6 weeks after your fitting. This is important to check the fit of your orthotics and the progress you are making with them including future management advice. Many people opt for a second pair of Foot Reset If you choose to order a second pair, we will do this at one of your review appointments.
We usually try to refurbish your Foot Reset orthotics before the Protect Warrantee expires at two years. We do recommend renewing your Policy as failing to renew will result in having to start from scratch if you decide you want another pair.
